FANTASTIC FILMS WEEKEND

The third Fantastic Films Weekend takes place on May 22 and 23 as the National Museum of Photography, Film & Television, Bradford presents its annual collection of classic chillers, fantasy epics, special guests and rare screenings.
The 48-hour film marathon will boast a stunning line-up of movies, including a super-rare opportunity to see the spectacular Lord of the Rings trilogy. The Fellowship of the Ring and The Two Towers will play as a double-bill on May 22, followed by The Return of the King on May 23.
Among the films scheduled are The Brides of Dracula and The Devil Rides Out, playing as a double-bill in tribute to Terence Fisher, who was born 100 years ago this year, previews of Gozu and Battle Royale II: Requiem and a special guest appearance by acclaimed author M.J. Simpson, the world's leading authority on Douglas Adams, who will be signing copies of his Adams biography, Hitchhiker. FFW will present a screening of the Omnibus special The Man Who Blew Up the World and the first episode of The Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy as part of the event.

The official book launch for "In All Sincerity...Peter Cushing" will be at the Monster Mania convention this August 27-29th, 2004. I will be on hand with copies of my book to sign for fans. Plus, the drawing for the original handwritten letter by Peter Cushing will also take place at the Monster Mania convention. Monster-Mania Con 2 will take place on August
27-29th, 2004 at the luxurious 4 star Cherry Hill Hilton Hotel,
which is located on Route 70, 4 miles closer to Philadelphia than last year's
show. The Hilton is a much, much larger hotel that offers us the
opportunity to have all our dealers in one HUGE dealers room. The film
room will also be much larger, able to accomodate many more people for our film
presentations. The Guest Of Honor Room is a beautifully decorated ballroom
where all our guests will be signing autographs and greeting the fans.
